Senior Vice President
For more than 20 years, Ruth has been helping organizations, and the people in them, more clearly define the root cause of problems and work upstream to create or improve systems and incorporate preventive practices. She helps clients develop a clearer vision and move in fresh directions, enabling powerful personal and organizational transition and greater resilience.
A special focus area for Ruth is coaching professionals who are navigating life opportunities during their 50s and 60s. At this stage, individuals may find their focal point and priorities changing, redefine what peak performance looks like, develop broader problem-solving skills, and more actively pursue healthy habits. She has helped her coaching clients identify, explore, and align their passions and deeper purpose for this next chapter of life or work in order to create a greater sense of wellbeing. This includes decision-making around and transitioning toward or away from retirement.
Ruth loves to speak to groups and client events, as well as lead seminars on creating healthier organizations, navigating change, balancing work and life, and planning the lifestyle side of retirement…or even unretirement.
Ruth draws on over 25 years of experience, much of it in the health care industry. She has held staff, faculty, consulting, and executive roles working in organizational development, risk management, human resources, and strategy and change management. She has owned two businesses and has over 20 years of experience coaching individuals pursuing improved work experience and a healthier life.
Ruth has a bachelor of science in nursing and is a registered nurse with a master’s degree in Eastern medicine. She combines the two paradigms for a more complete, systems-based picture of health and preventive care. She is a board-certified coach, a professional retirement coach, and is credentialed as a Senior Practitioner in Human Resources.
Ruth calls Minnesota home where she loves being outdoors hiking, or meandering. She is an avid theater/arts patron and loves quirky museums.
