Dan Williams

Senior Vice President

Dan has a passion for helping financial advisors and business leaders be more effective doing what they love.

Throughout his thirty year career in the financial services industry, Dan has helped raise well over $1 billion by working closely with some of the top independent financial advisors and RIA’s in 48 of the 50 United States.  His success has been fueled by his passion to make everyone with whom he interacts better, and he’s personally been coached and trained by some of the most successful leaders in the financial industry, names like Sullivan, Covey, Connelly, Carson, Robins and of course,  the Founder of Think2Perform, Doug Lennick.

Dan graduated with a BA from the University of Minnesota, and began his career in financial services in 1987.  He helped to create one of the very first federally chartered non-bank banks in the US, and raised more than $250 million in total assets and liabilities in just three years.  His career then lead him into the Institutional Retirement Services area where he sold and serviced large companies with their 401(k) administrative and investment needs.  Along the way Dan created a highly successful new business to introduce financial advisors to their institutional partners.   In 1995, Dan turned his experience and determination into an extremely successful wholesaling career, covering a variety of both insurance and investment products over the next twenty years.   He has conducted more than 700 seminars on a variety of financial planning topics, and is a sought-after speaker and coach for advisors practices.

When he’s not busy assisting financial advisors and business leaders in achieving their goals, He and his wife are the proud parents of two internationally born daughters who he adores and spends most of his free time developing.  If he’s not attending a volleyball tournament or a dance competition, he’s volunteering his time building homes in Mexico or at the University of Minnesota hospitals, while also supporting his favorite Golden Gopher and Professional sports franchises.
